    Hobbies are fun activities that we can do in our free time, according to KBBI, the word “hobby” has the meaning of a recreational activity done in one’s free time to relax one’s mind and improve one’s mood. The aim of hobbies is to fulfil the human desire and doing hobbies can help humans to live a better life. Doing hobbies has several benefits for human life and personality. For instance, doing hobbies can develop socialization skills, to refresh the human’s mind and get more inspiration, increase the human’s spirit and positive energy. Everyone in the world unconsciously has a hobby, whether young or old. So, hobbies are beneficial for human life and personality. 
    To take a break from a busy life, hobbies are one of the best things you can do. Apart from relieving fatigue, hobbies can also maintain a balanced life. There are many things to do, such as physical activities are beneficial to improve health or can even start a business. Some artists who love golf build their own golf courses and open them up to golf enthusiasts. In addition, brain-teasing games can also be found on various devices, such as word games, picture games, or even object finding games. Games like these can help fans to think more deeply.
    And also, from hobbies we can also gain a lot of new knowledge and skills. Hobbies can provide several benefits for human life and personality. For example in socialization skills, doing hobbies can make humans more sociable and connected with other people. Instead, playing football can build teamwork skills with other people to reach the goals together. In addition, when humans play video games as a hobby, it can improve communication skills to build strategizing, so the team can win the game. Doing hobbies can also refresh a human's mind and get more inspiration. For example, if humans feel confused and out of ideas, the solution is to take a breath and do hobbies. So that humans can think more flexibly and also create unexpected new inspiration. It also doing hobbies can increase a human's spirit and positive energy, because hobbies can increase the spirit to live human’s life with more passion. Beside that, hobbies can also provide challenges that can stimulate hormones and positive energy. 
    That way, hobbies are done when humans have free time. We can obtain many benefits from doing hobbies, such as socialization skills, to refresh a human's life, and also to increase a human's spirit and positive energy. Therefore, useful hobbies will help people to have a better life and personality.

Proses Upacara Ngaben

Proses upacara Ngaben berlangsung cukup panjang. Upacara Ngaben diawali dengan Ngulapin yang di lakukan di Pura Dalem, di mana pihak keluarga melakukan ritual permohonan izin dan restu kepada Dewi Durga. Setelah itu, dilakukan upacara Meseh Lawang di Catus Pata atau di bibir kuburan yang bertujuan untuk memulihkan cacat atau kerusakan jenazah yang dilakukan secara simbolis. Kemudian, dilakukan upacara Mesiram atau Mabersih, yaitu memandikan jenazah yang terkadang hanya berupa tulang belulang, dilakukan di rumah duka. Setelah itu, dilakukan upacara Ngaskara, yaitu upacara penyucian jiwa tahap awal. Dilanjutkan dengan Nerpana, yaitu upacara persembahan sesajen atau bebanten kepada jiwa yang telah meninggal.

Puncak dari prosesi Ngaben adalah Ngeseng Sawa, yaitu pembakaran jenazah yang dilakukan di setra atau kuburan. Jenazah yang akan dibakar diletakkan di dalam sebuah replika lembu yang disebut Petulangan. Petulangan adalah tempat membakar jenazah yang berfungsi sebagai pengantar roh ke alam roh sesuai dengan hasil perbuatannya di dunia. Usai jasad dibakar, dilakukan upacara Nuduk Galih, di mana keluarga mengumpulkan sisa-sisa tulang (abu) jenazah setelah pembakaran. Prosesi terakhir adalah Nganyut, yaitu menghanyutkan abu jenazah ke laut, sebagai simbolis pengembalian unsur air dan bersatunya kembali sang jiwa dengan alam.

The Process of Ngaben Ceremony

The Ngaben ceremony takes a long process. It starts with the Ngulapin ritual at Pura Dalem, where the family asks for permission and blessing from Dewi Durga. After that, Meseh Lawang ceremony is held as a symbolic ritual at the Catus Pata or at the edge of the grave, aimed to recover defects or damage to the corpse. Then, a Mesiram or Mabersih ceremony is held at the funeral home, which is bathing the corpse, that is sometimes only the bones remain. After that, the Ngaskara ceremony is the ritual that is the first step in purifying the soul. Followed by Nerpana, which is the ceremony of offering sejajen or bebanten to deceased souls.

The climax of the Ngaben procession is Ngeseng Sawa, which is a burning of the body at the setra or cemetery. The body that will be burned is placed inside a replica of an ox called Petulangan. Petulangan is a place to burn the body that serves as a guide to the spiritual world, according to his deeds in the world. After the cremation, the Nuduk Galih ceremony is held, where the family collects the remains of the bones (ashes) of the corpse after the cremation. The final procession is Nganyut, which washes away the ashes into the sea, symbolizing the return of the water element and the re-unification of the soul with nature.
